Father's Day!!!

Our Hero and best friend!!!

The kids were so excited to give Kent their cards that they came into our room early this morning to give them to him. I, on the other hand, tried very hard to keep his present a secret. It never works out. He always ends up finding out some how. I got him a GPS that he has wanted for two years now. I think he was very happy. He was beaming from ear to ear all day. I am excited to try geo-cashing with him.

Kent with his receipt for his new GPS.

At church, Kent and I substituted in primary and was able to be a part of the game “Guess That Mystery Dad”. Kent was chosen to be one of the dads. Each dad disguised their voice and answered questions on how many kids do you have, how many years have you been a dad, what do you like to do for fun, if you could share one aspect of the gospel what would it be, and what is your favorite primary song. Kent’s disguise voice was Yoda (he was quite good I must say). The kids laughed and laughed. Another dad disguised his voice like a game show host, another a shaky old mans voice and another dad did his voice in Spanish. When they were done asking questions the kids had to guess who it was and once they chose a dad they would have them come in and sing their favorite primary song. That was a great idea Michelle. Great job.

I want to tell my husband how much I appreciate and love all that he does for my family and me.

Happy Father's Day To The Grandpa’s!!!

We are so glad we were able to spend the afternoon with Kent’s Dad. He is a pro with modeling clay and entertained the kids for an hour with just the clay and his talented hands. The kids are still talking about it. We sure all love grandpa.

And to my Dad in Cozumel Happy Father’s Day!!! I know he is having fun there, but we are still planning to get together when he and grandma return from their trip. We all love you.

Little Independent Emma

We could not find the training wheels for Ethan's old bike. Emma is 3 and wanted to ride it so bad that Kent gave in and held onto her for a while. He needed to finish his work so he told her she was on her own. I said to Kent, "she needs training wheels first"(the paranoid mom coming out). "I don't think she can do it with out them". Little did I know. I thought she would give up and play something else. For like the next hour she worked at it and worked at it until she could start out, balance and ride the bike on her own. Ever since that day she is getting more daring like putting her feet up on the top bar and balancing them there. I think we have a "righteous" knievel on our hands. "oh, little independent Emma".

Emma's Preschool Graduation

I thought this video was so cute. I didn't realize how much Emma likes dancing for the camera. I am glad she didn't inherit my shyness, but at the same time I worry about how outgoing she is.

My Dancing Fairy's

The girls recital was fun even though they didn't feel well. I am so proud of them. They did a good job.

The Joy Of Being A Mom

Mother's Day was wonderful. The kids each made me something which I will treasure. I am so thankful to bring up these beautiful children. They each have unique personalities that bring me such joy. I know I am not a perfect mother, but hopefully I can impact them for good in some ways.

10 Year Anniversary

We celebrated our 10 year Anniversary in April and I was looking through our wedding and cruise pictures and thought it would be fun to post a couple. For our Anniversary this year Kent surprised me with a trip to San Diego.

Honeymoon Cruise to Ensenada and Catilina Island

This is the dinner night when everyone dressed up. Kent had to borrow a suit and it drowned him.
