Oh how I want Spring and Summer to come!

I am sooo ready for Spring! This video even got me more excited for Spring to come. I am second to the last person and my mom is the last. I remember thinking, "This is the last trip of the year and so I gunned it". Anyone, who knows me well knows I love going through the river and mud puddles. I do like getting dirty once in awhile. hahaha That was the end of summer last year in 2008. I am ready for Summer 2009.

This next video is a bit late. When I was sick I never got around to posting it. This is the first time playing Rock Band with my family. It was a fun and a good laugh. I haven't laughed that hard in a long time. It compressed my video really small so this video doesn't give everybody's face's justice.

The Darndest Things My Kids Say Sometimes

  • I was combing through Emma's hair and she said, "Owe your combing through the snore' ls in my hair". instead of snarles.
  • This morning Kent was cooking crepes and Emma was whining, "I want patty cakes. Those are not patty cakes". (Pancakes)
  • One day we went to the store and Emma said, "Mom we need to take the cutaway, pass way". I said, "What"? and she said, "you know like this, putting her hands out diagonally to show me". It took me a minute to figure it out, Oh you want to take a shortcut and she said, "Yes mom that is what I said".
  • We went to lunch with my family and my brother asked Karlie if she wanted to go ice skating and she said, "Sure only if I have the proper training of course"!

And the last I saved for the PG-13 readers. This one might be too much for you all, but me and Kent just crack up over this one.
  • Ethan is in first grade and he has to write sentences everyday. This is what he came with all on his own.
  • I have two balls and they are blue.

He was talking about his two blue Bakagon ball toys. Kent read it to me and we both just started laughing. Ethan was said, "what, what did I say". We said, "oh that was just so creative Ethan". Kent and I argued a minute of whether he should erase the sentence. Kent wanted to keep it and didn't want to make him erase the sentence, for sometimes it takes him a while to come up with a sentence. I was just hesitant of what his teacher might think. It was sent to school. Who knows what his teacher thought of it. hahaha Thinking back, oh we are horrible sometimes.

This Is Personal Beware

I usually do not express my emotions or feelings on this blog for I feel it to be too risky in some ways, or too personal in others. I am not sure what to do, but out of desperation I am pleaing for help. I thought if someone reads my blog they might know of something, or atleast can point me in the right direction to find answers.

Most people don't know, but I have been sick for almost a month and a half now. It started out as a bacterial infection( Which I had 2 different antibiotics for that one), Strep Throat (2 antibiotics for that one, because the first one did not work). Pneumonia( 1 antibiotic for that one). Yeast infection, because of all the antibiotics( antibiotic for that one). Today I learned the antibiotics for the pneumonia did not work and can I say another antibiotic was added. ( It is given out like candy. LOL I am J/K. And then they added a inhaler on top of that. They think it might be more of a underlining problem, but no answers only guesses. Out of desperation I am willing to try more holistic medicine(even though it costs a grundle) I don't know if this is smart by posting about it, but I am looking for help for I need my life back.:) The reasons I keep getting infection after infection is because my immune system is surpressed by the medicine I take for my Rheumatoid Arthritis. I have gone off some of my RA meds for a few weeks, but in doing so I take the chance of my arthritis coming back full force.

My worst symptom is EXTREME FATIGUE( when I get up I want to run back to bed), I also a little gurrgling or wheezing in lungs, shortness of breath, back and chest pain, fever, and I am having touble sleeping( oh they added a sleeping pill on top of that too. )

I am sorry if this sounds depressing, that is not my intention. I just want to be better and get my life back so I can take care of my family again. If you have any advice please share. Please! The Dr. is setting up a echocardiogram and if this round of antibiotics does not work a CAT scan. She never mentioned a Pulmonary Specialist. I wonder if that is the next step I should take. I am even so desperate that I might try and go some place warm(Arizona, San Diego). :) It kinda feels like flashbacks of trying to figure out what I had when I was diagnosed with RA.

Who knows this round of antibiotics might work.( I pray and hope so). I am not asking for help around my house. My wonderful husband has been great in helping me. Even on his birthday he took care of me. So I am good in that area. I am just asking for inspiration, knowledge, thoughts, advice, or anything.

Thank You,

Em & Em

Happy Birthday Ethan!!!

When I think of Ethan I think of sweet, smart especially good with numbers, he is quiet and my laid back child. He has always been really calm. Even when he was first born it took the nurses a little bit to get him to cry to clear out his lungs. Good thing I didn't know that until after the fact. :) Keep in mind he is still my little teaser. lol

This is at Mount Vernon when we lived in Virginia. I highly recommend visiting this tourist site.

Ethan was 2 in this picture I could not find him any where. We lived in Virginia in a town house with three floors and I finally heard a little noise from in the kitchen and found he imitated Spiderman and climbed to the top all by himself. Just sitting there. :)

Another time I went upstairs to check on Emma in bed and I came back down and couldn't find him. I smelled smoke and started to freak out. In the short time I was upstairs he had climbed on the the cabinet and got the matches out of the cupboard and went downstairs. He then stacked a bunch books on top of a chair and retrieved a candle from the fire place mantle. He had already lit one match and was working on the second, in an attempt to light the candle, by the time I found him. Ethan being 2 I had no idea he could get up there. Who knew he was watching us so close of how to use matches. ALL I COULD SAY TO THAT IS OH SHEESH WE HAVE A PYRO on our hands just like his dad when he was little. LOL

For Ethan's birthday he wanted a Indiana Jones Party. I was trying to think of ideas and we came up with a scavenger hunt of clues that started with a letter from Indiana Jones. The first clue led to crossing the snake pit. (A balance beam with a pile of rubber snaked below.) Thanks Michelle for letting us borrow the balance beam, it turned out perfect. Next the boys had fun mummifying each other with toilet paper. After that they got to feel snake's blood (warm and slightly congealed red jello), monkey brains ( spaghetti mixed with pudding), and goat eye balls (bouncy balls covered in pudding). I wasn't going to add this part, but Ethan insisted and I thought "boys like that kind of stuff". And then down through the cave to retrieve their treasure. This was by far the most enjoyed part of the hunt. We took as many blankets as we could and covered the stairs making it almost completely dark. We also threw a bunch of bean bags on the stairs for obstacles. Even after we had retrieved the treasure everyone kept going up and down the stairs. All in all I think everybody had a good time.
